Italian yard Nolimits Yachts, a brand of Rossinavi, has shared new details and a first look inside Gemini, the first 45.1-metre superyacht in its new line that comprises five all-aluminium crossover models. The unveiling comes following the yacht's delivery in May and first season in the Mediterranean, with preparations now underway for her journey to the United States - the home of her owner.
The yacht is characterised by a low, masculine profile courtesy of collaborator Fulvio de Simoni – known for the 49.9-metre Bel1 - while the Touch Studio has created her "warm and inviting" interiors and Arrabito Naval Architects is behind the naval architecture. The project also benefited from the involvement of brokerage firm Italian Yacht Group – responsible for the new build's sale in 2024 – which represented the owner throughout construction.
New images reveal Gemini's calming, contemporary interior scheme, defined by soft off-white shades and a "luminous palette" of materials such as light woods and brown-veined marble. Deliberate pops of colour can be seen across the interior through a curated collection of abstract art pieces and sculptures - chosen as such to insert "energy and personality" into the spaces.
According to the shipyard, the studio set out to "move beyond conventional aesthetics" and create environments as an authentic extension of the owner’s lifestyle - intimate yet family-oriented.
The main saloon combines a generous lounge with a formal dining area seating 12, served by a centrally positioned professional galley. Forward lies the 45-square-metre owner's suite, which includes a private studio, lounge, vanity area, walk-in wardrobes and separate his-and-hers bathrooms.
Guest accommodation remains on the lower deck, comprising four cabins - three doubles and one twin. Crew quarters are located further forward on the same deck.
At the heart of Gemini's design is the sundeck, which measures 110 square metres and is arranged with a panoramic lounge aft, complete with low sofas and coffee tables; an al fresco dining area, sheltered by the hardtop; a main lounge with its modular sofas and fully equipped American bar; and the bow, where large double sunpads offer a private, elevated space for enjoying the sun.
Moving down a level, the upper deck hosts another outdoor dining area, complete with a 10-seater table and sofa seating overlooking the sea, while forward, guests can access a dip pool fronted by sunpads. Inside on the same deck, an upper saloon offers an informal social setting with a lounge, bar and a pantry.
Other major leisure spaces include the main deck cockpit, arranged in a "lounge style", and the lower deck beach club. The latter features a fold-down transformer platform – forming a dedicated area for swimming, watersports, or easy boarding – while just forward lies a gym with direct water access.
"With Gemini, we sought to create a yacht with a distinctive yet timeless identity, combining classical proportions with a few strong design elements," explained Fulvio De Simoni, founder of Fulvio De Simoni Studio. "The balance between open spaces and enclosed volumes, together with the extensive glazing, enhances both onboard comfort and the connection with the sea."
Powered by twin Caterpillar C32 engines, Gemini can reach a top speed of 15 knots and boasts a range of over 4,000 nautical miles at 10 knots. This is complemented by a dual stabilisation system with four fins, minimising roll and ensuring superior comfort both at anchor and underway, in addition to Zero Noise technology and redundant technical systems.
The shipyard also highlighted that Gemini is certified for unrestricted passage through both the Panama and Suez Canals. Key specs include a beam of 9.1 metres, a 2.3-metre draught and a sub-500GT.
Federico Rossi, COO of Rossinavi, added: "Gemini represents the first expression of Rossinavi’s PRO vision for yachts under 500GT, brought to life through the Nolimits Yachts brand. It marks an important step in extending Rossinavi’s engineering philosophy to this segment of the market."
BOAT International previously sat down with Rossi to learn more about the new Nolimits brand.
