A new central agency has been announced on the 55.7-metre Picchiotti motor yacht Galileo, now listed for sale with Kevin Bonnie of IYC.
Delivered in 2011 and built in Italy by Perini Navi, who also designed her interiors and completed her naval architecture alongside Philippe Briand, the motor yacht was designed by Vitruvius, with her most recent refit in 2026.
The yacht was also the winner of the International Superyacht Society Award, and a finalist in both the World Superyacht Awards and Showboats Design Awards in 2012.
The main saloon offers a spacious lounging area with two large cream sofas sitting adjacent to each other. Forward, separated by shelving, a dining area sits in the same open-plan space, offering a formal setting seating for 10 guests.
Furthest forward sits the full-beam master suite with a walk-in wardrobe and an en suite bathroom. The lower deck sleeps the guests across two doubles and two twins, all with en suite bathrooms. The cabins are characterised by dark wood and light furnishings.
Al fresco options are in abundance, with the large main aft deck offering ample space for entertaining including a lounging space in the sun. The deck also benefits from an al fresco dining space under the shading of the deck above.
The upper deck features a second saloon with more lounging space inside around coffee tables. Through the double doors, the upper deck aft provides another al fresco dining area, with a light wood table that seats 10 guests. The deck is also flanked by built-in sofas to provide further lounging space in the sun.
Forward, the foredeck has a large space for more entertaining, featuring soft furnishings with optional shading for all-weather use and sunpads for the ultimate sun-catching spot.
The beach club features a lifting transom that holds the watersports equipment and provides an area for lounging and easy access to the water. The deck also has a gym with weights and a rowing machine, with a side balcony out onto the water.
Galileo has an extensive cruising range of 9,000 nautical miles and is also a certified world cruiser, having circumnavigated the globe twice. The yacht for sale's twin Caterpillar engines allow for a top speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots.
