The 55-metre Amels superyacht Galene has been sold, with Y.CO representing the seller and Edmiston introducing the buyer.
The last in the popular Amels 180 Limited Edition series, Galene was designed by Tim Heywood with interiors by Laura Sessa. The steel and aluminium motor yacht was delivered by the Dutch yard in 2020.
Accommodation is provided for an owner's party of 12 in five cabins, looked after by a crew of 13. The main-deck master cabin sports a fold-out balcony, while the main saloon benefits from two balconies.
Two VIP cabins plus a pair of convertible cabins with additional Pullman berths are located on the lower deck. Huge windows flood the main saloon with natural light.
Her sundeck boasts a large Jacuzzi surrounded by sunbeds and a covered bar, protected from the wind by glass doors. Al fresco dining may be enjoyed on the bridge deck, sheltered by the sundeck overhead and subtle glass panels, enclosing the space without interrupting views. The bridge deck saloon has a large TV and with its "plush sofa" converts into a cinema.
Powered by twin MTU diesels, the 671GT yacht has a top speed of 15.5 knots and cruising speed of 13.5 knots. Range is 4,500 nautical miles.
