€3M Price Drop on Amels Motor Yacht Kamalaya

The 55 metre motor yacht Kamalaya, listed for sale by Fergus Torrance at Torrance Yachts, has seen a price reduction of €3,000,000.

Built in steel and aluminium by Dutch yard Amels, Kamalaya was delivered in 2013 as one of the yard’s 180 Limited Edition series and has always been privately used. Following in the footsteps of the successful Amels Limited Edition 171 and 177 series, the 180 series is also designed by Tim Heywood and, at 660 gross tons, she offers a large interior volume. The main deck saloon is enlarged by 30 percent with an additional bar and seating area. The sky lounge is full-beam and the sundeck is extended with a touch-and-go helipad just above the wheelhouse.

The interior, designed by Remi Tessier, accommodates 10 guests in five cabins. The full-beam master suite is on the main deck with its own fold-out sea balcony. An extra twin cabin nearby can be used for guests or children and three further VIP double cabins are on the lower deck. All guest cabins have entertainment centres, television screens and en suite bathroom facilities while a further seven cabins sleep 13 crewmembers aboard this yacht for sale.

Kamalaya had a major refit in spring 2018 including a five-year Lloyds survey and a full repaint. Twin 1,408hp MTU engines allow a cruising speed of 13 knots topping out at 15.5 knots and she is fitted with Naiad zero speed stabilisers.

Kamalya is now asking €36,000,000 with VAT paid.
