News now from Mark Elliott at International Yacht Collection of another $1 million price drop on his central listing for sale, the 47.85m motor yacht Piano Bar.
She was built by Picchiotti and launched in 1982 and was recently re-launched after an extensive two-year refit and refurbishment programme in 2011/2012. She now features modernised accommodation, updated electronics and new air conditioning.
She gets her name from the upper deck piano bar, an air-conditioned oasis away from the heat of the day. If you can’t play, just sit back, relax and the piano will do it for you. With her two tenders launched, the huge aft deck becomes a major open space for large-scale functions and parties. The pool deck features a barbecue and wet bar, comfortable sun lounging area and two seating areas for al fresco entertaining.
The interior of Piano Bar has been professionally redecorated, bringing a luxury feel to all areas. She sleeps 12 guests in six staterooms. Accommodation comprise a master suite, two double staterooms, two twin cabins and the study on the main deck forward can be converted to provide a further twin guest stateroom. All staterooms have en suite bathrooms that are well appointed with fine marble fittings. Twin Caterpillar diesel engines give Piano Bar a cruising speed of 12 knots and maximum speed of 15 knots.
Lying in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, Piano Bar is now asking $3.9 million.
