I have to confess to being nonplussed when I heard today that the price of the 29.5m sailing yacht Odysseus has been reduced from $1.895 million to $1.375 at Ardell, when on April 16th 2009 I reported a drop from $1.895 million to $1.79 million - intrigued I call her broker, Ron Rickard.
It's simple, says Ron, the owner had spent so much on upgrades that he wanted to recover some of the costs and upped the price again but this should be the definitive price at $1.375 million.
Designed by Sparkman & Stephens and built by France’s CIM yard in 1987, this superyacht was refitted in 2000 and has been continually refurbished over the past few years. Odysseus has a three-cabin layout with a full-beam owner’s suite aft and two guest cabins immediately forward.
