60m Austal motor yacht Idol rejoins market

The 59.9-metre Austal motor yacht Idol has rejoined the brokerage market with David Legrand at Fraser. She is currently attending this year's Monaco Yacht Show.

Delivered by Australian builder Austal Ships in 2007, Idol is a high-volume yacht (at 903GT) in "excellent condition" thanks to a 2022 refit, according to her broker. Exterior and interior design is owed to Italian designer Sam Sorgiovanni, with the latter supported by the commissioning owner's own design team and characterised by a bright white colour palette tempered by glossy black materials.

Lying in Monaco, Idol is asking €22,000,000 (VAT paid)

Her layout is "ideal for charter use" with 14 guests housed across seven cabins, including two VIP cabins on the bridge deck and a full-beam owner's suite on the main deck. An impressive 10.6-metre beam combines with oversized windows to create airy, light living spaces, with the main saloon offering multiple lounging areas and a formal dining table.

A second saloon on the upper deck benefits from direct access to exterior decks, where guests will find plenty of sunbathing opportunities, shaded seating and a sit-up bar. Other highlights include a gym, a fully certified helideck for a Bell 429 (or equivalent), a large tender and toy setup and the opportunity for "expedition-style provisioning".

Powered by twin Caterpillar 1,575hp engines, this yacht for sale can reach a maximum speed of 15 knots, a cruising speed of 12 knots and a range of 4,000 nautical miles.

Attending this year's Monaco Yacht Show, Idol is asking €22,000,000.
