The 46.1 metre modern classic Nadan has been listed for sale with Bruce Brackenhoff and Dirk Johnson at Edmiston's USA ahead of her appearance at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
Nadan is a rare example of a neo-classical cruiser built in aluminium by Burger Boat Company in 2009. With naval architecture by Bruce King, exterior design by Burger and interior design by Ken Freivokh, Nadan draws admiration wherever she cruises.
Her Art Deco period feel is evident once inside. Nadan's interiors are reminiscent of the 1920s and include showstopping features such as Madrona Burl raised wall panels inlaid with Macassar ebony.
The main saloon sports a curved leather sit-up bar with custom-built stainless-steel stools, large sofas, and a separate dining area. A veranda is reached through Lalique glass doors from here.
There is a second saloon in the new sky lounge, the result of an extensive 2019 refit, which comes with its own bathroom, large windows so guests need never miss a view, and beautiful detailing, including mahogany panels, tongue-and-groove panelling and teak and holly flooring. A secondary refit period was completed in 2021.
Nadan can accommodate a total of nine guests across four cabins, including a main deck owner’s suite, and a VIP suite, double cabin and a twin cabin on the lower deck.
Out on deck, the seven-person hot tub on the sun deck becomes a social hub, and this area also offers an outdoor bar, alfresco dining, plus ample sunpads forward.
On the main deck aft, there is a large lounge area with two U-shaped sofas facing each other beneath the bulwark, plus some fantail seating on the stern.
Nadan cruises at 12 knots, under twin Caterpillars, and her shallow draft of just 1.8 metres means she can cruise in both the Bahamas and the inland waterways. She comes with a Novurania tender (new for 2019), plus two dive tanks.
Nadan is asking $22,500,000.
