Talking to Alex Lees-Buckley in the Monaco office of Camper & Nicholsons International, he tells me that he has signed the worldwide central agency for the sale of Feadship’s 50m High Chaparral and adds that he should be signing another one in the next few days. High Chaparral was built by the de Vries yard in 2004 with Terence Disdale interior and exterior arrangements. Fully Lloyds classed and MCA compliant, she accommodates 12 guests in six cabins. When delivered she was, in the builder’s opinion the quietest and most comfortable yacht of her type built to date. According to Alex, “She is the arguably the finest Feadship of her type afloat and, at €40 million, is priced at well below replacement cost for an as-new boat.”
