The 31-metre Comar sailing yacht Shadow has been sold in an in-house deal with Manfred Haas of Haas International representing both the seller and the buyer.

Both Shadow's hull and superstructure are built of carbon composite by the Italian yard, constructed to a complete design and naval architecture by A. Vallicelli & Co. She is the only unit from the Comet 100RS model, and when delivered in 2011, became Comar's flagship - a title she still retains today.

Silver Star I was last asking €1,200,000

Shadow accommodates eight guests in four comfortable cabins, including an owner's suite in the bow and three guest cabins. Meanwhile, she has quarters for a crew of four.

Teak wood throughout her interior is complemented with cream leather seating and accents of colour via soft furnishings.

Andrea Vallicelli designed an elegant hull and deck saloon with large windows, described by the broker as "a sleek silhouette and a sporty yet comfortable cruiser aesthetic". There are twin cockpits, one dedicated to guests, with seating and sunpads, and the other sporting twin helm stations and controls.

Equipped with a Hall Spars carbon rig, Cariboni hydraulic lifting keel, Harken deck gear and Doyle Sails, Shadow is a performance sloop capable of worldwide cruising.

Under power, a single 375hp John Deere engine gives the sailing yacht a cruising speed of 10 knots and a maximum speed of 12 knots.

Shadow was last asking €1,200,000.
