Custom Splendor Motor Yacht Serque Now For Sale With Northrop & Johnson
by Malcolm Maclean
The 40.5 metre motor yacht Serque has changed central agencies and is now listed for sale by Kristen Klein and Kevin Merrigan at Northrop & Johnson.
Originally built in aluminium by US yard Broward with delivery in 1995, she was rebuilt by Custom-Splendor Yachts to a design by Donald Blount and, ABS classed, she was delivered to her new US owner in 2009. An interior by Pavlik Yacht Design was handcrafted by Genesis Yachtline in Viareggio, Italy and accommodates 12 guests in six cabins including a main-deck master suite, three doubles and two twins. All have en-suite facilities and have access to the on board Kaleidescape server allowing for on-demand audio and video.
The interior features flooring in Botticino stone with mosaic borders contrasted with Italian high gloss furniture and luxurious silk and chenille fabrics.
Mahogany sapele wood inlays, lush fabrics and state of art technology create a five-star experience on the seas in this yacht for sale. Serque’s unique design incorporates spacious walkways and skillful, minimalist craftsmanship with inconspicuously positioned electrical outlets, kitchen appliances, telephones and remote controls, all built within drawers and hidden from sight.
Well planned exterior decks provide a multitude of areas ideal for relaxation, entertaining and al fresco dining, making her well suited for both private and charter use. She also features state of the art navigation, communication and audio/visual systems throughout.
Twin Caterpillar C32 Acert engines provide a cruising speed of 12 knots and a range of 3,000 nautical miles. Naiad zero speed stabilisers are fitted to eliminate roll motion at sea and in port.
Serque is asking $3,995,000.
