Edmiston and Northrop and Johnson slash superyacht Independence's price

News just in this morning from Alex Busher of Edmiston & Company that his joint central agency for sale, with Ann Avery at Northrop and Johnson, the 53m sailing yacht Independence, has had a major $5 million price reduction. Currently having annual maintenance work done in drydock at the Amico yard in Genoa, this superyacht is easily available for inspection and survey.

Independence  was launched by Perini Navi in 1998 and refitted in 2001/2002. ABS classed and MCA compliant her interior, designed by Perini and Budd Baty, sleeps up to 14 guests in a master, three doubles, two twins and two Pullman berths. This superyacht cruises at 13 knots and has a range of 2,900 nautical miles at 12 knots. Her asking price is now $24.95 million.
