Enzo Moiso of Nauta Yachts dies

Sadly, I have to report the recent death of Enzo Moiso, head of the brokerage division of Nauta Yachts. I spoke to his colleague Mario Pedol who gave me the following information: Born in 1956, Enzo and his lifelong sailing companion, Mario Pedol, founded Nauta Yachts in 1985, along with Massimo Gino. The company designed and built several yachts under the Nauta brand but, facing the economic slump of the early nineties, the partners decided to diversify and in 1994 established a design, project management and brokerage company, Enzo being head of brokerage. While the company continued to design and project manage new builds from various yards and for an international roster of clients, Enzo celebrated a major triumph just two years ago with the sale of Itasca, a 54m exploration yacht. Enzo will be remembered by all who knew him as elegant man with a sophisticated sense of humour that endeared him to his clients.
