The 44.2-metre Feadship motor yacht Philosophy has been listed for sale with Phoenix Yacht Management.
Designed by De Voogt Naval Architects, Philosophy was constructed in steel and aluminium by the Dutch yard to Lloyd's class and delivered in 2015. Following her launch, she quickly became popular for her "highly personal" interior by Bannenberg & Rowell; modern yet classical, it was cutting-edge for her time.

Accommodation on board Philosophy is for a party of eight guests in four cabins, including a full-beam master suite on the main deck and a VIP suite and two double cabins on the lower deck. All of the cabins are fitted with entertainment centres and en suite bathrooms, while crew quarters sleep up to nine members of staff.
According to her broker, Philosophy's interiors feature "high-end materials, elegant furnishings, and a warm, sophisticated ambience". Her living spaces are cheerful, with pops of contrasting vibrant colours and geometric soft furnishings.
The main saloon is one example, fitted with a large curved sofa and a dining table surrounded by four pink chairs, while a more neutral-themed formal dining room lies forward. The bridge deck saloon is designed for more relaxed lounging as well as a place where the owner can work. It is a multi-purpose space that includes a games table, bar and television area.
The original owners decided during the design phase that they wanted to be able to exercise on the aft deck. The contraflow swimming pool was one of the first major additions during the design and holds up to 9,000 litres of water with a holding tank directly below.
On the sundeck, guests will find an elongated and flexible lounge space with twin dining areas and sun loungers, perfect for taking in the passing vistas during cruising.
Twin 1200hp Caterpillar diesel engines propel the 499GT yacht for sale to a top speed of 15 knots or a cruising speed of 12 knots, while her range is 3,850 nautical miles at 10 knots. For increased safety and comfort, she is fitted with Quantum underway and zero-speed stabilisers.
Philosophy is asking €29,500,000.
