Fils de Grace for sale through BCR Yachts

I call David Price at BCR yachts about his new central agency for sale, the 54.75m Fils de Grace and he confirms that she’s in the middle of a total rebuild, sending me a seven-page specification of work already completed and remaining to be done. Built in 1968 by E.J. Smit & Zoon Scheepswerven as a cable laying vessel, she’s immensely strong and would suit an adventurous and imaginative owner. The plans are to have 12 guests in six cabins, with 14 crew. The total already spent on her refit is €3.4 million and she still needs a total interior fit-out, electrical rewiring, audio-visual systems and so on. The asking price is €4 million.
