The 53.3-metre Damen Yachting support vessel Five Oceans has been sold, with Rob Dolling of Verpeka Dolling representing the seller and Tim Vickers of Burgess introducing the buyer.

Delivered in September 2024, Five Oceans is from Damen Yachting's YS 53 series – an evolution of the YS 5009 originally based on Damen's commercial platforms – built in steel and aluminium to a complete design from the Dutch yard. Her sale comes after €8,000,000 of reductions were made to her sales listing since she first joined the market only a month after her delivery.

Five Oceans was last asking €26,950,000

The broker noted that the 53.3-metre was "optioned with a high level of custom details and outfitting", alongside a deck inventory and owner supplies onboard included at an expense of more than €5,000,000, resulting in "the finest YS platform that the yard has delivered to date".

According to her broker, the vessel was asking the same price as a brand new YS model at the time of her sale, while benefiting from extensive upgrades and additions and lying in "turn-key" condition.

The support vessel sits beneath the 500GT threshold, able to carry anywhere between six and 16 guests or staff depending on how the owner wishes to use her, as well as accommodation for a crew of 10. This includes a panoramic owner's bridge lounge with a touchscreen operations console.

Top design features include a vast aft deck across a nine-metre beam for carrying toys and tenders alongside a 15-tonne deck crane for launch and recovery. There is also a dive centre located in the stern, equipped with full custom NITROX compressors, a mixing station, a wet suit drying room, furniture and outfitting.

The support yacht is powered by twin Rolls Royce MTU engines, delivering a combined total of 6,000hp and a top speed of 19 knots. The vessel is also fully IMO Tier III compliant, reducing emissions by 70 per cent for full-range operations with a 5,000-nautical-mile range.

Five Oceans was last asking €26,950,000.
