The 36.5 metre Sanlorenzo fast motor yacht Gelato has been sold by Northrop & Johnson and Blackorange. Blackorange director Grégory Gheraia, the selling broker, noted that she was under offer within three weeks of coming to market. Charles Hervé of Northrop and Johnson's Monaco office represented the buyer.
Gelato was built by Sanlorenzo to a design by Francesco Paszkowski and delivered in 2017 as an SL118 model. She has recently completed her five-year class survey. During her build Gelato received over €1,500,000 of technical improvements with a focus on the reduction of sound and vibration, enhancing guest comfort.
This GRP yacht can accommodate up to 10 guests across five en suite cabins, with an additional four cabins sleeping seven members of crew. A full-beam master suite is located forward on the main deck and benefits from a private terrace, large bathroom and an OLED TV.
The remaining guest accommodation comprises two VIP suites and two twin cabins below, all equipped with entertainment centres, flat screen televisions and marble en suite bathrooms.
Her interior is finished in neutral tones with grey lacquered walls. Dark wooden flooring with recessed lighting can be found throughout. The main saloon is open-plan with an L-shaped sofa facing a sliding door glass that can be opened fully with direct access to a fold-down sea terrace. Further forward, a dining table seats up to 10 guests.
Above, a sundeck features a second dining area beneath the shade of a hardtop, while two oversized sunpads can be found forward with a seating area tucked into the bow.
Power comes from a pair of MTU 16V2000M94 engines, with only 600 hours on them, delivering a top speed of 26 knots and a range of 1,200 nautical miles when cruising at an economical speed of 12 knots.
Gelato was asking €9,600,000 with VAT paid.
