Heesen's 49.8-metre motor yacht Daisy D has been listed for sale with Nathan Farrelly of Edmiston, and will be on display at the Monaco Yacht Show later this month.
Dutch yard Heesen delivered Daisy D in 2018 as the sixth unit from its sporty 5000 Alu series designed by Omega Architects. Her naval architecture was completed in-house by the yard, while she was outfitted with highly customised interiors by Cristiano Gatto Design.
Her broker noted that the motor yacht underwent a comprehensive refit in 2023 and has been a successful addition to the yacht charter market with Edmiston since her last sale, which, according to BOATPro, was also in 2023.
Accommodation on board the 499GT yacht for sale is for 12 guests across six cabins in a typical layout for this class of yacht. The full-beam owner's suite lies forward on the main deck with a lounge area, office and his-and-hers bathrooms. On the lower deck, there is a full-beam VIP suite, along with two double cabins and two convertible twin-cum-double cabins, all with en suite bathroom facilities. Meanwhile, there are further quarters for a crew of nine.
Glossy ebony and Canaletto walnut were materials specified by Gatto for the interiors of Daisy D, who took inspiration from French interior designer Jean-Michel Frank. Her main saloon is a prime example, with its chic and minimalist atmosphere thanks to "a palette of sophisticated neutrals accented by rich textures".
Here, guests can relax on multiple large sofas and loose armchairs or indulge in a fine-dining dinner at the formal dining table that can seat 10. An ebony, leather and stainless coffee table, with an integrated ice bucket hidden beneath, is also a standout feature here.
Above, the full-beam skylounge is host to an oversized curved sofa, a television and a full bar, while shaded al fresco dining can be enjoyed on the deck outside.
Up top, the 70-square-metre sundeck boasts fabrics by Hermès and provides one of the four al fresco dining options. A Jacuzzi, sunpads and full-service bar make this a popular space for guests - both owners and charter.
Closer to the water, a vast 25-square-metre aft terrace blends seamlessly with the saloon – creating a single, light-filled entertaining space – while the beach club at sea level offers direct access to the water and Daisy D's well-equipped collection of tenders and toys.
The yacht for sale has a top speed of 23 knots and a range of 3,100 nautical miles at 11 knots, with power coming from twin 3,862hp MTU engines. She is also equipped with Naiad zero-speed stabilisers, at anchor and underway.
Daisy D is asking €28,500,000 (VAT paid) and will be on display at the Monaco Yacht Show, joining the most expensive yachts attending.
