Dutch shipyard Heesen has announced the sale of its 55-metre new build motor yacht, Agnetha, which was launched in March this year and has been on display in Cap d’Ail during the Monaco Yacht Show. The deal was closed with Ian Harris of Phoenix Yacht Management from Dubai, who introduced the buyer.
Known as YN 20955 throughout construction, Agnetha was built within the yard's 55-metre Steel series, designed by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects, with naval architecture developed collaboratively by Heesen's in-house team and Van Oossanen Naval Architects, and interiors designed by Italian studio Luca Dini.
Lifestyle brands, including Molteni & C, Technogym, Frette, Oliver Treutlein, Glancy Fawcett and The Wool Company, recently partnered with the Dutch yard to offer a more immersive experience for potential clients who stepped on board. Artwork from Lyki and Tartarelli Art Gallery was also showcased.

Her accommodation configuration is carefully planned for charter guests or owners seeking multiple cabins. Further quarters on board accommodate a crew of 13.
Luca Dini's interior combines traditional features with a welcoming and inviting atmosphere, characterised by a warm-toned palette intended to evoke feelings of "comfort and homeliness".
As seen on her previous 55-metre Steel sisterships, living areas are plentiful. Agnetha features an expansive main saloon with repeated sofa seating to aft and a formal dining area for eight guests forward. A skylounge above offers undisturbed views and a seamless indoor-outdoor connection, mostly thanks to the aft superstructure being completely free from pillars as well as the removal of window mullions.
Al fresco dining can be enjoyed on the upper deck aft next to an open-air lounge, while additional lounge spaces are located on the main deck aft and the foredeck. Up top, the sundeck is a welcoming entity in itself, complete with a forward-facing Jacuzzi, a central bar and sunpads aft.
The 760GT motor yacht is host to Heesen's Fast Displacement hull, which, combined with twin MTU IMO Tier III engines, enables her to achieve a top speed of 15.5 knots and a range of 4,500 nautical miles at 13 knots. Key specs include a beam of 9.6 metres and a draught of 2.8 metres.
"The completion of this sale marks the end of a successful Monaco Yacht Show in Heesen's new era," commented Heesen CCO, Ruud van der Stroom. "It demonstrates our belief that our brand is best presented in person on the water. It has been a pleasure to work with Ian Harris of Phoenix Yacht Management and his team. We are proud to be able to deliver a superyacht that is truly turnkey”.
CEO of Phoenix Yacht Management, Ian Harris, added: “We are truly excited to have finalised this sale. We understand the quality that the Heesen 55-metre platform provides, and we know it will suit our client’s vision of life on the water. As well as being suited for private use, she is also an excellent option for charter.”
Agnetha's asking price is unknown.
