Merle Wood & Associates has announced a $1 million price cut on 38.1 metre motor yacht No Comment, which is jointly listed with Luxury Yacht Group, in the hope of encouraging a sale at the Miami Yacht Show.

Designed by Frank Mulder, No Comment was built by Dutch yard Heesen Yachts to ABS class and delivered in 1987 with a thorough refit in 2011. Accommodation is for 12 guests in five cabins consisting of a master suite, two doubles and a twin plus two Pullman berths and all cabins have full en suite facilities. Twin 1,250hp Deutz engines give her a range of 3,000 nautical miles at her cruising speed of 12 knots.

Her two-year $10 million refit, completed in 2011, was supervised by the original designer, Frank Mulder, and included a main aft deck extension and euro-transom, an expanded sky lounge, bridge and sun deck extensions and reconfiguration of all exterior areas, maximized for superb outdoor living. In addition, all mechanical systems were renewed or replaced. Her engines (new in 2002) were rebuilt, new air conditioning system installed plus a new waste treatment system, updated stabilizers and new running gear.

Having taken delivery of a larger yacht, her owner is a ready seller and seeking offers. No Comment is now asking $7.9 million.
