IYC cuts El Jefe's price

I call Mark Elliott at International Yacht Collection who tells me that his joint central agency with Chany Sabates, Derecktor's 35.1m megayacht El Jefe has had a price reduction. Built in 1989, her 2007 refit was, says Mark: "from stem to stern, with a new interior, new electrics and mechanicals and new paint, making her an absolutely turnkey yacht."

A shallow-draught waterjet-powered yacht, El Jefe accommodates 10 guests in a master, two doubles and a twin plus two Pullman berths and cruises at 15 knots. Currently lying in St Maarten, El Jefe has seen her asking price go down from $4.6m million to $3.9 million.
