by Malcolm Maclean
The 85.1 metre motor yacht Valerie, listed for sale by Richard Gray at IYC in London, has had a further massive price reduction of €15,000,000.
Built in steel and aluminium by German yard Lurssen to a design by Espen Oeino and Lloyds classed, Valerie was delivered in 2011 with her latest refit in 2019, and has had the same owner since new. Designers Reymond Langton have taken full advantage of her impressive volume of 2,755GT to create an expansive interior accommodating 12 guests in six cabins, with an additional guest-finished cabin for staff on the upper deck. Guest cabins consist of a master suite forward on the main deck, two VIP suites on the upper deck and three doubles on the main deck. All guest cabins come with entertainment centres, television screens and en suite bathroom facilities while the crew quarters sleep 22 staff aboard this yacht for sale.
An elevator serves all decks, with additional waterline guest boarding access on the portside. Additional features include a commercially compliant helicopter deck, vast sundeck with a six metre pool and Jacuzzi spa tub, exquisite spa facilities, beauty salon and fully equipped gymnasium. Twin MTU 16V 4000 engines give her a top speed of 17 knots, a cruising speed of 12.5 knots and a transatlantic range of 6,000 nautical miles.
Lying in Barcelona, Spain, Valerie is now asking €135,000,000.
