The 46.63 metre motor yacht Argyll, listed for sale by Kevin Merrigan and Kristen Klein at Northrop & Johnson, has been sold with Mack Carroll at Atlantic Yacht & Ship introducing the buyer.
Designed by Luiz De Basto, she was built in aluminium by North American Yachts and Shipbuilders to ABS class and delivered in 2002 to a disabled client and accordingly has wheelchair access throughout. An interior by Ralph Lauren Home uses African makore mahogany and Tuscan marble to accommodate 10 guests in five cabins consisting of a bridge deck master suite with its own deck, two VIP suites and three twins, all with entertainment centres and en suite bathroom facilities. In addition, there are quarters for 10 crew.
The main saloon is panelled in rich mahogany and offers comfortable furniture, a built in bar, games table and an entertainment centre including a satellite television screen and there is a formal dining area forward. More informal dining is available in the galley where the chef is happy to supply casual snacks all day.
Relaxed al fresco meals are offered on the aft deck equipped with chairs, built in seating and a wet bar while up on the sun deck is an area forward fully enclosed by glazing giving 270 degree views and aft is a sunbathing area with a Jacuzzi and sun loungers.
Further features include an elevator to all decks, wide corridors and a library aft of the pilot house with a 62 inch flatscreen television. Twin Caterpillar 3512B diesel engines give her a cruising speed of 13 knots and she is fitted with zero speed stabilisers.
