The 72.3-metre explorer yacht Bleu de Nîmes has been listed for sale with Simon Ting of SuperYachtsMonaco.
Bleu de Nîmes was originally delivered in 1980 by Clelands, constructed in steel and titanium for the British Royal Navy as a degaussing ship named RMAS Lodestone. Following several years of service, she was purchased by a passionate and experienced yacht owner in 1999 and underwent an extensive refit (completed in 2005), which adapted her into a more than capable explorer yacht.
In 2016, after 10 years of exploring the world, her owner decided on another refit to transform her into a "stylish charter yacht". A major four-year rebuild was completed in 2020, with works including a 16-metre extension to her amidships and stern and an increase of volume by nearly 600GT.
Overseen by Studio Nattero and carried out by FYD Monaco, the explorer gained new cabins, two garages, a wellness area and a lift connecting all six decks, with her new interiors penned by Pier Vittorio Cerruti. Her brokers noted that she was "ingeniously transformed into a true ocean-going luxury explorer yacht".

The owner's suite is a highlight; making use of the full beam and spanning 110 square metres, it is fitted with a private study, his-and-hers dressing rooms, an en-suite shower room, and an en-suite bathroom with an oval bathtub. There is also an emperor-sized bed and comfortable seating area with access to a spacious aft deck.
The remaining guest accommodation is spread across the decks, with the lower deck home to six double cabins, two twins, and two triple cabins. Meanwhile, two VIP cabins are situated on the main deck, both with en-suites and walk-in wardrobes.
In terms of social and living spaces, Bleu de Nîmes has plenty. Talking of the sundeck, it also boasts two Jacuzzis to aft, a lounge area, multiple sun loungers and a bar.
In regards to amenities, there is a library room, "immersive" cinema room and several bars on the main deck. Meanwhile, a fully-equipped, 50-square-metre gym lies on the bridge deck, next to a massage room and sauna.
The beach club – which is located astern of the guest cabins on the main deck – offers easy access to the water thanks to a large swim platform. Her mammoth toybox includes kayaks, waterskis, wakeboards, Seadoo wave runners, and a Jetski, plus six tenders, two of which are custom fishing and beach landing tenders. The touch-and-go helipad also offers security during long-range cruises and easy access.
