Toby Maclaurin at Ocean Independence tells me he's listed for sale a brand new 80.55m superyacht project called Project Nelson.
Employing the very best of British design, engineering & construction, Laurent Giles are the designers and Burgess Marine would undertake the build in the historic maritime city of Portsmouth, home to Lord Nelson’s flagship HMS Victory. To be built in steel and aluminium, she features an ultra-efficient hull form, and hybrid Rolls Royce engines will give her a range of 6,000 nautical miles at 10 knots.
Accommodation is for 12 guests in six staterooms including an entire deck for the owner and there are 14 cabins for 24 crew making for a great crew/guest ratio of two to one. Additional features include a beach club spa with swimming platforms and a large tender garage.
The owner would choose the interior designer and Project Nelson is asking £90 million.
