A call to Eric Trupheme at Ocean Independence confirms that he's sold the 34.2m sailing yacht Obsession II to a direct client.

Built by France’s C.I.M. Shipyard to a design by Berret/Racoupeau in 2002, Obsession II is Bureau Veritas classed and her 34sqm deck saloon offers panoramic ocean views.

Built for an experienced yachtsman who wanted both comfort and performance, and last refitted in 2012, Obsession II combines exceptional outdoor relaxing areas and comfortable accommodation for eight guests/owner in four sumptuous staterooms – a master and three doubles.

Thanks to an optimised hull and a brand new set of Stratis sails, she is able to reach a top speed of about 16 knots in perfect safety. Her powerful MAN engine and her 75hp bow thruster make manoeuvering at the dock painless even with a reduced crew.

Obsession II was asking €2.5 million.
