The 27.08 metre Oyster sailing yacht Ayni has been listed for sale by Dirk Johnson and Simon Goldsworthy at Edmiston & Company.
Built in GRP by British yard Oyster to a design by Rob Humphreys Yacht Design, she was delivered in 2017 as hull number 8 of the Oyster 885 series. Accommodation is for up to seven guests across three generous cabins, including a full-beam owner’s suite, a double and a twin cabin with an additional Pullman berth, all with en suite shower facilities.
Ayni has many features that her predecessors lack, including a full-beam salon with nearly 8ft of headroom thanks to an upgraded raised deckhouse design – the only 885 to have both – and a highly desirable L-shaped owner’s suite with its own small lounge.
Additional innovations that set her apart from other bluewater yachts under 100 feet include a carbon fibre mast and boom, twin rudders, bowsprit with code-zero capabilities, a spacious swim platform and a recessed tender. Under power, a 330 Cummins diesel engine allows a cruising speed of 8 knots topping out at 11knots.
Ayni is asking $6,450,000.
