30 men...220 miles...3 days on bikes...and not enough training. That’s the challenge facing Patrick Coote at Fraser Yachts on September 8th when he departs from London cycling to Brussels.
He says he knows it’s going to be painful and gruelling, but also knows there’ll be a cold Belgian beer waiting in the Grand Place.
Patrick concludes by saying, ‘We will be helped on the journey by the knowledge that we will be raising funds for the Royal Marsden hospital which does such fantastic work in caring for those unfortunate people who are suffering with cancer. Our personal suffering of only a few days will be nothing compared to what is endured by those who are treated by the wonderful staff at the Royal Marsden.
