Picchiotti motor yacht Golden Compass now for sale with Northrop & Johnson

The 46 metre world-girdling motor yacht Golden Compass has switched central agencies and is now listed for sale by Whit Kirtland at Northrop & Johnson.

Golden Compass was built by Italian yard Picchiotti and delivered in 1982. She has been immaculately maintained and upgraded since, including major refits in 2009, 2011 and 2015. She is now technologically up-to-date and especially comfortable. Complete renovations were undertaken in many of the interior areas including the master suite, guest cabins, main saloon, dining saloon, sky lounge, captain’s cabin, crew quarters, and all bathrooms. Accommodation is for up to 12 guests in six cabins laid out as a master suite, VIP suite, two doubles and two twins, all with en suite bathroom facilities.

Golden Compass is asking $3,500,000

The main saloon features ornate Italian marquetry inlays in the large custom bar, comfortable armchairs, a large settee, and an entertainment centre including a 50 inch pop up television connected to the central audio/visual server. Forward is the formal dining area with 12 chairs and storage cabinets for tableware, while aft are wide double doors to the aft deck with all the necessities for al fresco entertaining and dining.

The sundeck of this yacht for sale offers more outdoor relaxation and has a Jacuzzi tub, large sun pads, seating areas, a full service bar, stainless steel barbecue, fridge, ice maker, waterproof 42 inch television screen and a sound system that can turn this area into a dance floor.

Her twin 900hp Caterpillar engines give her a range of 3,800 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 10 knots

Located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Golden Compass is asking $3,500,000.
