Jared Neff at Neff Yacht Sales sends word of a $100,000 price drop on his listing for sale, the 27.4 metre motor yacht Free Spirit.

Built in aluminium by US yard Broward, Free Spirit was launched in 1990 and was formerly called Moon River. Accommodation is for six guests in three staterooms consisting of a full beam master suite amidships with a king sized bed plus two identical twin staterooms aft, all with televisions and entertainment systems and all staterooms have full en suite bathroom facilities.

Recent upgrades to the large main deck saloon make it the most popular room on the yacht while the flybridge is excellent for al fresco entertainment with a wet bar, barbecue grill, fridge, ice maker and a Bimini top. In 2008 her twin 1,040hp Detroit Diesel engines were overhauled and both her Northern Lights generators were rebuilt. Her engines give her a cruising range of 1,500 nautical miles.

Lying in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Free Spirit is now down to $849,000.
