Ann Avery at Northrop and Johnson sends word that there's been a major price reduction to her central listing, the 41.55m sailing yacht Ranger.

Ranger was built by Danish Yachts in 2004 to Lloyds class and MCA compliant as a replica of the J class yacht which won the 1937 America’s Cup. A departure from the original, this superyacht carries a central cockpit, doghouse and luxurious mahogany interior, boasting four staterooms aft for owner and guests, with three ensuite baths.

A bonus is that her purchase offers the opportunity to join the elite J Class Association, soon to become 7-10 yachts strong. Previously asking $20 million, Ranger is now down to $17.5 million.
