Price drop on Westport motor yacht Castlefinn
by Malcolm Maclean
The 34.14 metre motor yacht Castlefinn, jointly listed for sale by Ralph Raulin at Worth Avenue Yachts and Terry Smith at Selective Yacht Sales, has had a price reduction of $200,000.
With naval architecture by Jack Sarin, Castlefinn was built in GRP by US yard Westport to a design by Taylor Olson and delivered in 2012 as a Westport 112 model. An interior graced by cabinetry in raised panel mahogany accommodates eight guests in four cabins comprising a master suite, VIP suite, double and a twin, all with entertainment centres, LCD television screens and en suite bathroom facilities.
Entrance to the main saloon of this yacht for sale is through double stainless steel and glass doors. There is a large L-shaped sofa to port with two occasional chairs and an ottoman. The saloon windows are very large, offering panoramic views while relaxing in front of the entertainment system, at the bar, or at the games table on the starboard side. The formal dining area is located in the forward part of the saloon and seats ten guests.
The aft deck offers ample room for al fresco entertaining and dining, with an upholstered built-in settee, high gloss teak table, teak chairs and a bar. Meanwhile, outdoor life continues on the flybridge, featuring a bar, barbecue grill and built in seating sheltered by a custom GRP hard top. Twin 2,000hp MTU diesel engines allow a cruising speed of 22 knots topping out at 26 knots and she is fitted with Naiad zero speed stabilisers.
Lying in North Palm Beach, Florida, Castlefinn is now asking $8,795,000.
