The name Mr Terrible for a yacht certainly grabs the attention but seems less odd when you learn that she's named after her owner's chain of service stations and casinos in the American Midwest. And now comes the news from Kevin Merrigan at Northrop and Johnson that this 46.94m motor yacht is his central listing for sale.

Mr Terrible was built by Delta Marine in 2007 and is ABS classed and MCA compliant. Her interior by Delta's in-house designer Adriel Rollins mixes Polynesian and Art Deco themes to give a harmonious contrast of primitive and modern.

This superyacht accommodates up to 12 guests in a master suite and four staterooms and her twin 3650hp  MTU engines give her a range of 2,200 nautical miles at 14 knots. Mr Terrible was featured in the 2008 edition of The Megayachts and also won an award for Best Semi-Displacement motor yacht over 40m at the 2008 World Superyacht Awards. She is asking $38.5 million.
