The 35.2 metre sailing yacht Shamanna, jointly listed for sale by Joost Goverts at Northrop & Johnson with Mediterranean Yacht Management, has been sold to a direct client.
Designed by German Frers, Shamanna was built in GRP by Finnish yard Nautor’s Swan to Germanisher Lloyds class as the second hull in the yard’s flagship 115 series and delivered in 2016. Accommodation is for eight guests in four cabins comprising a master suite, VIP suite and two twins, all with en suite bathroom facilities.
Shamanna ’s layout has a large, open living area with saloon to port and dining starboard. The keel box, housing the keel that lifts from 5.8 to 3.6 metres, is covered in leather and separates the saloon from the dining area. Forward, the mast is a design element, striking in its carbon fibre finish, which is slightly different from what’s found above deck, with a cross-strand mesh fibre chosen for aesthetics.
Her cockpit is a neat feature, with a pop-up spray hood built into the coach roof and an awning system that attaches to the side of the boom to unfurl and offer complete shade. Under power, a 450hp Scania diesel engine allows a cruising speed of 11 knots topping out at 29 knots.
Shamanna was asking €12,500,000.
