The 36.4-metre explorer yacht Preference 19 has been listed for sale with David Westwood and Mark Van Gelderen of TWW Yachts.
Built in steel and aluminium by Turkish yard Tansu Yachts to a design by Riza Tansu, Preference 19 (previously Preference) was delivered in 2011 and is DNV classed and MCA compliant. Notably, the light grey-hulled explorer went on to win a Neptune trophy at the 2012 ShowBoats International Design awards, with the judges complimenting her ‘less is more’ styling.
An interior by B&B Italia follows an award-winning contemporary design with strong, angular exterior lines and a fresh, loft style interior. There is a separate cosy dining area for up to 10 guests.
Accommodation-wise there's room for 10 guests over five cabins via a main deck master suite and four guest cabins below, all with en suite bathroom facilities. Beds in the guest cabins consist of two doubles and two twins, with each twin featuring an optional Pullman berth.
The design emphasis is on maximising outdoor areas for added enjoyment while cruising the Mediterranean and her vast aft deck, suitable for relaxation as well as tender storage, is the same length as the main saloon.
Two outside stairways on either side of the saloon lead up to an impressive upper deck offering a bar, seating, sun beds and welcome shade beneath two removable Bimini tops.
The broker says the vessel has been "meticulously maintained while retaining a fantastic charter track record." She has recently had new Trac electric zero-speed stabilisers fitted and passed her 10-year class special condition survey. Her twin Caterpillar 1,300hp engines, which deliver a range of 1750 nautical miles at 12 knots, have received planned maintenance and overhauls in the last 12 months along with the generators.
Preference 19 is asking €7,800,000 with VAT paid. The yacht for sale will be available for viewing at the ECPY Riviera Rendez-Vous in Nice on 14 - 15 May.
