Tarrab motor yacht Platypus offered for sale

The 32 metre motor yacht Platypus has been listed for sale by Whit Kirtland at Bradford Marine Yacht Sales.

Built in GRP by Argentinian yard Tarrab, she was delivered in 2000 while a refit in February 2015 saw her bow lengthened by 10 feet. A warm interior by Paola D. Smith accommodates nine guests in four cabins consisting of a master suite with a queen sized bed, a VIP suite, also with a queen sized bed, a double and a twin and all cabins apart from the twin have full en suite facilities.

A large saloon is in light woods and neutral carpeting, offering seating in large port and starboard settees, a wet bar and a full entertainment system including a Sharp television set. In the galley, there is a U-shaped seating area to starboard for casual dining.

For those in search of the outdoor life, the aft deck has a custom made teak dining table, ample seating and five holders for fishing rods. Up on the flybridge, al fresco entertaining and dining is catered for with a wet bar, fridge, ice maker and built in upholstered seating.

Fully equipped with professional diving gear, yacht for sale Platypus has enjoyed a terrific career as a charter dive yacht and has helped her guests explore some of the premium dive spots in Florida and the Bahamas.

Twin 1,400hp Caterpillar engines on this yacht for sale give her a cruising speed of 22 knots, a maximum speed of 24 knots, an she is equipped with Naiad bow thrusters.

Lying in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Platypus is asking $995,000.
