News just in from Tom George at Tom George Yacht Group that he's found a buyer for the 44.4m motor yacht Aghassi, listed for sale by Mark Elliott at International Yacht Collection.
Aghassi was launched by US superyacht builder Christensen in 2002 to ABS class as hull number 25 in the Christensen Custom Series and has twin 1,820hp MTU engines giving her a range of 4,500 nautical miles at 12 knots. An exquisite interior by Paola Smith sleeps 10 guests in five staterooms. Accommodation comprises a full beam master suite, two double staterooms and two twin cabins. The master suite is full width and located forward on the main deck with a private office, king size bed, his and hers en suite bathrooms and two walk in closets. Two identical double staterooms have queen sized beds and there are a further two twin cabins. The four guest staterooms are below deck forward of the engine room and all have full entertainment systems including flat screen televisions with surround sound and all have en suite bathroom facilities.
The covered aft deck with a wet bar is ideal for al fresco dining, and the skylounge converts into a home cinema with a 50 inch plasma television screen and surround sound. Silk bulkhead panels in pastel shades throughout are combined with high gloss painted surfaces and natural woods to create a relaxed, gentle ambience.
MCA compliant, Aghassi was asking $13.9 million.
