The 48.8-metre Trinity Yachts motor yacht No Bad Ideas has rejoined the brokerage market with Alex Rogers of Northrop & Johnson. She has been listed for sale ahead of her newly announced attendance at the upcoming Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
Delivered in 2000, the all-aluminium yacht underwent a two-year $20,000,000 refit, completed in 2024, where "every major component was either replaced or rebuilt", according to her broker, who also noted that No Bad Ideas emerged "as the most extensively updated Trinity yacht in existence".
The motor yacht for sale was designed by Setzer Yacht Architects, with naval architecture by Paragon Design, and, during her refit, her previous interiors were "stripped and reimagined" by American design studio, A La Mer.
In addition to extensive interior works, the refit focused on exterior spaces, too, with No Bad Ideas now featuring a firepit in the forward, foredeck seating area and a 10-person, glass-ended Jacuzzi on the flybridge, complete with a sit-up bar. A stern extension of over three metres also created a "water level lounging space" equipped with another 10-person pool.
Accommodation on board is for 12 across six cabins, including a full-beam, main-deck master suite (with a his-and-her en suite, two walk-in closets and a private sitting area), a main-deck VIP which also doubles as a wellness retreat, plus two VIPs and two convertible twin-to-king cabins on the lower deck. Meanwhile, further quarters accommodate a crew of 10.
Her toys and tenders include a five-metre Walker Bay tender with 115hp Yamaha engines, four Sea-Doo Jet Skis, four underwater scooters, an inflatable dock, slide, climbing wall and refurbished cranes and davits. No Bad Ideas also boasts a new dive compressor for those seeking an underwater adventure.
Twin 2,250hp Caterpillar diesel engines power the 488GT yacht for sale to 22 knots with a cruising speed of 12.5 knots and a range of 3,500 nautical miles. Stabilisers at anchor and underway maintain comfort for guests. Key specs include an 8.8-metre beam and a 2.4-metre draught.
No Bad Ideas is asking $21,900,000.
