Westport motor yacht Lucky Stars sold
by Malcolm Maclean
The 29.87 metre motor yacht Lucky Stars, listed for sale with Bryan Long at Westport Yacht Sales, has been sold with the buyer introduced by Veronica Pizza at Worth Avenue Yachts.
Built in GRP by US yard Westport to a design by Jack Sarin, Lucky Stars was completed by West Bay Sonship with delivery in 1998 and last refitted in 2016. Accommodation is for up to six guests in three cabins configured as a full beam master suite, VIP suite and a twin, all with ample storage spaces and marble en suite bathroom facilities.
The saloon features a large U-shaped sofa, coffee tables, full entertainment centre, wet bar, custom glassware display case, and abundant storage space. The dining table is in the forward portion of the saloon with a custom overhead chandelier.
The large country kitchen-style galley serves as a social centre, with generous seating and large windows. There is a formal dining area plus a more casual settee with table adjacent to the galley. Her extensive deck areas also invite sunbathing and al fresco socialising.
The aft deck offers a cosy ambience with built-in seating, an oval table and a full wet bar, while up on the flybridge is a large L-shaped settee with a teak table to port and to starboard is a wet bar and ice maker.
Twin 1,350hp MTU diesel engines give her a cruising speed of 17 knots, topping out at 20 knots.
Lucky Stars was asking $2,295,000.
