The 25.9-metre sailing yacht Adjutor has been sold with Tom Corkett and Paul Daubner at Northrop & Johnson representing the seller. The buyer was introduced by Tom Nuxoll of Marine Servicenter.
Delivered in 2002 by Yachting Developments to a design by Bill Langan, she was created to fulfil a brief for a world-voyaging, high-performance sailing yacht, easily handled by three crew members. She boasts a carbon four-spreader mast by Southern Spars, a Park Avenue boom, hydraulic winches, a Harken hydraulic furling headsail and self-tacking staysail.
Accommodation is for five guests in two elegant cabins, one double and one twin complete with a pullman berth. A cosy main saloon boasts a comfortable three-seater sofa, armchair, coffee table and large television, all of which sit opposite a small dining area.
On deck, the central cockpit combines with a drop-leaf teak table and U-shaped seating, protected by a dodger and fixed Bimini. An uncluttered deck space creates plenty of space for soaking up the sun and enjoying the sailing experience.
Additional power comes from a 300hp Caterpillar engine and she has a cruising speed of 10 knots.
