Brokerage market round-up: March 26-29, 2018

Nine yacht sales were announced during the past week, including the 56 metre Perini Navi ketch Selene, which is the biggest sailing yacht to change hands in more than 18 months. The total asking price was more than £37.3 million ($49.8 million), and the most active brokerage house was Allied Marine with three completed deals.

PRICE REDUCTIONS

Five price drops were announced on yachts for sale this week, for a total reduction of £3.1 million ($4.2 million), with three of these reductions being higher than £500,000 ($673,000).

NEW LISTINGS

Four yachts were listed for sale this week with a combined asking price in excess of £15.4 million ($20.6 million). The most expensive new listing was the 40.8 metre Baglietto motor yacht Ability, which is offered for sale with Burgess.
