Brokerage market round-up: September 24-28, 2018

SALES

Ten yacht sales were announced during a busy week for the brokerage market. The total asking price was in excess of £29.5 million ($39.3 million), although the price of four yachts were withheld. The most expensive yacht was the 49.9 metre Misunderstood which was sold by Burgess and Thompson, Westwood & White with an asking price of $16.9 million.

PRICE REDUCTIONS

Four price drops were announced on yachts for sale this week for a total reduction in excess of £2.7 million ($3.6million). The biggest price drop was more than £1 million on 49.9 metre Turquoise Double Trouble.

NEW LISTINGS

Twelve new yachts were listed for sale this week with a combined asking price in excess of £152 million ($202.7million), with the price of one yacht withheld. The most expensive new listing was the 55 metre Amels Elixir, which is listed for sale with Y.CO.
