Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show: New yachts under 30m

Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show: New yachts under 30m

In the 30 metre and under category, new superyacht debuts are going strong with plenty to see at the upcoming Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. Yachts that have made their world debut very recently in Europe, such as the Ferretti 960, or the newest from Spanish builder Astondoa and designer Luiz de Basto, an intriguing boat called the 63 Top Deck, will be on show. American builders also will be out in force with new models, from the latest in sportfishers to tri-deck yachts and center consoles.

Get a sneak preview of the newest superyachts on display – and where to find them – at this year’'s Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show here.

Ferretti 960 29.2m Ferretti Yachts | BahiaMarDock

The largest Ferretti yacht yet, the new 960 offers plenty of space and strong performance, with a top speed of about 31 knots. Features include an on-deck master, separate accesses for guest and crew and a float-in tender garage. Good soundproofing and gyro stabilisers contribute to onboard comfort.

Ocean Alexander 90 Open Bridge 27.5m Ocean Alexander | Bahia Mar F/G dock 5-7

Ocean Alexander’'s first open-bridge 90, at 27.5 metre, sports a new hard-top design and offers one of the largest flybridges in its size range. A new four-suite layout provides three queen berths and a king in the master. Taking a design cue from the yard’s 36.6 metre 120 series, larger saloon windows bathe the interior with light.

Lazzara LSX92 27.42m Lazzara | Bahia Mar Face Dock 5

The newest yacht in Lazzara Yachts’ LSX series features numerous custom features, including exterior paint and a modern interior. She also features the new generation of Volvo Penta IPS. Four compact Volvo Penta engines, with an equivalent 1,200-horsepower each, provide this yacht with fuel-efficient speed and joystick manoeuvrability.

Alpha 87 Express Sportbridge 26.5m Cheoy Lee | Bahia Mar Face Dock 3

Continuing Cheoy Lee’'s Alpha series, the flagship 87 Express Sportbridge features naval architecture and styling by Mike Peters. Her interior design by Luiz de Basto showcases a bright and contemporary décor of dark veneer and reflective light-hued fabrics. The en suite owner’'s cabin with king-size bed is particularly spacious, using the full beam. With twin Caterpillar C32s, estimated top speed is 33 knots.

Ti Punch 26.1m Outer Reef | Bahia Mar B/C Dock 10,12,13

Outer Reef's 26.1 metre model was recently delivered from the builder’'s Taiwanese yard. A classic trawler-style motor yacht, she features a large fishing cockpit and was outfitted for diving by her owner. Her unusual interior by Destry Darr is a first for the yard, according to Outer Reef.

Princess 82 Motor Yacht 25.5m Princess Yachts | Bahia Mar Face Dock 2A-2H

One of the latest flybridge yachts from Princess, the spacious 82 accommodates four en suite cabins (including a full-beam master) and two crew cabins, in addition to a bright main deck saloon and dining area. Outdoor spaces are inviting, with a large flybridge, cockpit and foredeck seating. Classic Princess styling matches a contemporary interior. With twin MTU M94s, top speed is estimated at 34 knots.

Azimut 80 25.2m Azimut Yachts | Bahia Mar F Dock

A new model, designed by Stefano Righini and Achille Salvagni Architetti, this yacht accommodates eight guests in four cabins plus two crew.
