Admiral has announced the sale of its second-biggest new build to date named Project Skyfall.

The 82 metre project was sold by Frank Grzeszczak Sr. at FGI Yacht Group to a "highly experienced  American owner" and is the first large Admiral superyacht to be sold into the US market. Project Skyfall will eclipse the Italian Sea Group's current flagship, Kensho, by seven metres in length.

Project Skyfall will feature five decks with six staterooms sleeping a total of 12 guests and a crew of 28. Initial renderings show a glass-fronted beach club and a 7.5 metre swimming pool in the main deck with a space cut into the overhang above to allow sunlight through from above.

Other features include a foredeck helipad which can be transformed into a party space as needed, an underwater cinema and over 100 square metres of lounge space on each deck.

“After an extensive three years of shipyard research and searching for a yacht builder to entrust with the creation of his dream yacht, this highly experienced American owner of multiple superyachts finally decided to build with The Italian Sea Group’s Admiral," said Frank Grzeszczak Sr., head of sales of the Americas for Admiral Yachts and president & founder of FGI Yacht Group.

Giuseppe Taranto, vice chairman and CCO of The Italian Sea Group, added: “The sale of the new 82 metre Admiral marks our entry into the US large yacht market, consolidating The Italian Sea Group's position as a key global player in the mega yacht sector."

Project Skyfall will be built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure and has been designed in-house by Centro Stile. She will be delivered in 2025.

Other notable projects underway at Admiral include a 100 metre flagship known as Hull 597 (previously Project Titanium).
