Italian yard Antonini Navi has expanded its Sport Utility Yacht (SUV) range with the SUY110. The 33.5-metre model, which has Italian designer Fulvio de Simoni behind its broad lines, was unveiled at an event in Monaco in collaboration with CA Moravia Yachting.
The SUY110 is the smaller sibling to the SUY135, the first unit of which is currently under construction at the yard's facilities in La Spezia, Italy. However, Antonini Navi asserts that this model is "equally ambitious" and "innovative", seen best in its 50-square-metre stern hangar that houses a 4.5-metre tender, a 4.2-metre sailing boat and two three-metre Jet Skis, as well as canoes, SUP boards and other watertoys – all without sacrificing interior living space.
Another distinctive feature is a raised beach club that overlooks the garage. The space has direct access to the main deck, creating a 27-square-metre "veranda lounge" with dining and relaxation areas. Ease of connection was a priority for the yard, with the SUY110 featuring several ramps (seven up, four down) that ensure continuity between decks.
Accommodation is across five cabins, including a master suite with a private studio. The lower deck offers two VIP and two double cabins, all en suite, while the crew area houses six people. Other design highlights include a bow lounge and an aft deck dip pool.
The SUY110 platform is already engineered, which means that delivery can be scheduled 22 months from the contract signing.
Twin CAT engines will power the model to a maximum speed of 14 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots. An optional diesel-electric system can reduce fuel consumption by 20 per cent compared to yachts of a similar size.
According to BOATPro, Antonini Navi has two active superyacht projects – the SUY135 and the Seamore 34.
