First 30m Antonini Navi XPD95 motor yacht sold with 2028 launch

3 September 2026 • Written by Emily Dawkins

La Spezia-based shipyard Antonini Navi has announced that the first unit from its XPD95 motor yacht series has been sold. Construction on the 30-metre new build will begin this autumn, with launch and delivery scheduled for 2028.

According to the shipyard, the project was inspired by masculine expedition vessels and has evolved into a custom motor yacht of under 200GT, developed around the specific requirements of her owner. The exterior lines are by design studio Sculli & Covini, while the yacht's interior design is from the drawing boards of Hot Lab.

The yacht has been designed to prioritise privacy, functionality and a connection to the sea, with the owner working collaboratively alongside Aldo Manna – the shipyard’s co-founder and sales director – and the design teams to define the build's layout, functions and intended use.

Hull one's long-range explorer capabilities are shown via her steel hull and aluminium superstructure, "rugged" construction and naval design language, which is reinterpreted for use mainly in the Mediterranean. Her predominantly horizontal profile draws inspiration from professional offshore vessels, translated into a contemporary silhouette with a high bow and lighter volumes towards the stern that culminates in a large water platform.

The helm station is inspired by wheelhouses on ocean-going tugs

A main feature on board is the multifunctional 35-square-metre beach area, which, when underway, can accommodate a five-metre tender alongside usable guest space. Once the tender is launched, the area transforms into an expansive private terrace overlooking the sea. A transformer platform completes the area, facilitating launching and hauling-out operations, as well as providing easy water access for guests.

The XPD95 has been designed to keep the gross tonnage under 200GT while concentrating amenities and living areas across fewer decks than is typical of larger vessels. As such, the stern combines technical spaces with social areas; the owner has a 60-square-metre private deck designed as a secluded apartment; the main outdoor areas are easily accessible; and the crew has independent pathways for living and working on board.

The teams also deliberately opted not to include a sundeck on board - instead, the owner will enjoy the 44-square-metre main-deck cockpit and a 33-square-metre foredeck lounge on the upper deck, creating two large outdoor spaces while ensuring the yacht's profile remains minimal.

Crew quarters are located in the central area of the lower deck to separate the guest area from the engine room and comprise two three-berth cabins. A third cabin is situated at the bow of the main deck, for easy access to the galley and laundry.

"We're particularly proud of this sale because it’s the result of a long process and of our absolute confidence from the outset in the XPD95 project, which we’ve continued to develop and refine over the years," said Manna. "The sale was also made possible thanks to the personal relationship built up over time with the owner, confirming just how much tangible value is added by the Antonini family’s human relationships, mutual trust and direct, friendly approach."

He continued: "We worked with this owner for months, listening to his requirements and discussing every aspect of the yacht’s functionality, without ever losing sight of the project’s original identity. Seeing XPD95 evolve to reflect the owner’s personality is a source of great satisfaction and enthusiasm for the whole team."

Construction will be overseen by Camper & Nicholsons, with owner representation from Daniela Duck.

According to BOATPro, the shipyard has three yachts currently under development. This includes the 32-metre yacht Hanaa, which is slated to launch this autumn.
