First look: Azimut unveils interiors of 25m flagship flybridge model

15 January 2026 • Written by Emily Dawkins

Italian shipyard Azimut has unveiled a first look at the interiors of its flagship flybridge model, the Fly 82.

The 24.8-metre model was unveiled in September last year as a new addition to the shipyard's best-selling Fly series, which also includes six other designs ranging from 16.8 to 23.6 metres. Long-time collaborator with the yard, Alberto Mancini is responsible for the exterior design of the Fly 82, while interiors are by Fabio Fantolino, marking his third project with Azimut for the Fly series.

Images reveal an interior that is refined and "softly elegant", with a bold new orange-brown accent colour that is said to infuse the Fly model with a fresh sense of character and distinction.

According to the yard, the main saloon revolves around a generous round dining table, backed by a bronze glass wall, which transforms the space into a "stage for conviviality". Meanwhile, a large L-shaped sofa and loose chairs complete the appeal for relaxation, with expansive floor-to-ceiling windows filling the space with natural light.

Accommodation is across four cabins plus two crew cabins

The model is said to combine the brand's signature DNA with innovative layout solutions and a "significant advancement" in Azimut's vision of open-air living. The Fly 82 is also the first model in the series to incorporate the Deck2Deck™ terrace system - originally developed by Azimut for the Grande 26M in 2023.

Intended to expand social space at the stern, the system is defined by an opening transom, which rises to align "seamlessly" with the aft edge of the main deck, extending the space outwards.

Mancini used sculpted yet sharply defined lines "shaped by the wind" for the flagship model's look, with the yacht described by the yard as being "something that appears to be in motion even when at rest". Triple Volvo Penta engines power the model to a top speed of 32 knots and a cruising speed of 25 knots.

The Fly82 will be on display at the upcoming edition of boot Düsseldorf from 17 to 25 January

The Fly 82 features an optimised hull designed by Pierluigi Ausonio Naval Architecture and the Azimut|Benetti Group R&D department, and offers clients a choice of IPS propulsion systems for a 20 to 30 per cent reduction in CO2 emissions. The model is also fitted with a WATCHIT Eye - the first collision avoidance system for yachts based on artificial intelligence.

According to BOATPro, the Italian shipyard has 79 superyachts currently under construction or on order. Azimut unveiled the newest addition to its popular line of explorer-oriented vessels during boat show season last year.
