Italian shipyard and Sanlorenzo subsidiary Bluegame has unveiled the first hull of its new flagship model, the 25.3-metre BGX83, at the 2026 boot Düsseldorf.
The BGX83 comes as an evolution of the crossover concept seen in the shipyard's smaller 21.9-metre BGX73 and 20-metre BGX63 models, created to be an "owner-centric design" combining larger volumes and spaces (particularly in the stern) with "uncompromising" functionality.
According to the yard, the BGX83 is "bigger, bolder, more functional and more luxurious than ever", now standing as the largest offering across all Bluegame lines and its official entry into the over 24-metre superyacht sector.
"Unveiling BGX83 at boot Düsseldorf marks a defining milestone for Bluegame," said Bluegame CEO Carla Demaria. "This yacht embodies the full maturity of our crossover vision and the ultimate expression of the ‘X’ concept we first pioneered years ago. With BGX83, we deliver a true superyacht experience in a 25.3-metre platform that combines radical design, extraordinary livability and a deep, authentic connection with the sea."
"BGX83 is not only our flagship, but also a timeless interpretation of our identity," Demaria added. "We cannot hide the pride we feel for what we have achieved: BGX83 is the ultimate statement of what Bluegame is today, of the values we stand for, and of the direction Bluegame is confidently heading forward.”
Bluegame's founder and head of product strategy, Luca Santella, is responsible for the flagship concept, with Italian studio Zuccon International Project behind the exterior design and Piero Lissoni of Lissoni & Partners selected for the interiors of the first unit.
A ruggedly elegant profile characterises the BGX83, with the previously smaller signature aft beach area replaced with a bigger open-air lounge, complete with a hydraulic swim platform and a starboard side opening to expand the space further.
Inside, Lissoni has balanced the yacht's bold exterior with a refined Italian character through a neutral yet textural palette. In terms of layout, upgrades have been made to the water-level aft saloon, which is now directly connected to the beach area at one end and the full-beam (6.3-metre) master cabin at the other. This layout allows for easy movement between the owner's suite and the water, creating what the yard describes as a "superyacht-level apartment".
Two or three generous VIP cabins are also offered on this same level, depending on the layout chosen, with "discreet" crew quarters located nearby.
"With the BGX83, we pushed the crossover philosophy to its absolute limit," explained Santella. "We created a genuine apartment on the water where the perception of inside and outside disappears. From the expandable beach club to the full-beam master suite, every line is designed to deliver a superyacht experience in an 83-foot [25.3-metre] yacht."
On the main deck, an asymmetric design sees a single starboard staircase to maximise the dining area and allow for a customisable outdoor bar and kitchen. Above, the upper saloon is fitted with two large opposing sofas which offer extensive viewing opportunities through 360-degree glazing.
Triple Volvo Penta IPS 1200 engines will provide power to the flagship build, which is set to achieve a maximum speed of 30 knots and a 28-knot cruising speed.
Speaking to BOAT International, Santella confirmed that the first hull of the BGX83 is a prototype, while the second, third and fourth hulls have been sold and are currently under construction.
Earlier this year, Sanlorenzo reported steady growth and strong order intake for the first half of 2025, where Bluegame was recorded to be "outperforming a competitive sub-24-metre market".
