Hong Kong-based shipyard CL Yachts has unveiled the first model in its brand-new C Series, the CLC115. The yard's first multihull model, the 35-metre leverages CL Yachts' "expertise in GRP hull construction" with a lightweight build designed to balance structural integrity with fuel efficiency.
The CLC115 is also guided by sustainable principles, including optional solar panelling, "eco-conscious interiors" and hybrid system that propels the catamaran to 18 knots. Meanwhile, a Smart Home module will intuitively manage climate control, lighting and other household systems for improved energy efficiency. Naval architecture and exterior design is owed to Incat Crowther, a prolific catamaran designer known for his work on Hodor and other Astilleros Armón builds.
Accommodation is for up to 12 guests and eight crew, including a full-beam owner's suite on the main deck with its own vanity area, desk, wardrobe and en suite complete with double sink.
A flexible layout means the second cabin on the main deck can be configured as a massage room, gym or nursery, while the aft areas on the main deck, upper deck and sundeck can also be "flexibly arranged to meet specific preferences and operational needs" for a charter-friendly build. Interiors by Chinese designer Supertomato Studio emphasise organic shapes and soft lines, supported by a neutral palette for a soothing, "resort-style" aesthetic.
Other highlights include the foredeck spa pool and the lifting beach platform, with fold-down bulwarks and plenty of storage for tenders and other watertoys.
"Designed for conviviality and well-being, every aspect of CLC115 is meticulously crafted to embrace nature and stimulate interaction," said Martin Lo, director of CL Yachts. "CLC115 seamlessly integrates sophisticated design with eco-friendly technology, setting a new benchmark for what responsible yachting signifies in today’s world."
