Seventh Codecasa 43 yacht begins construction

30 January 2026 • Written by Emily Dawkins

Italian shipyard Codecasa has announced that construction has commenced under speculation on the seventh hull from its Codecasa 43 yacht model. Delivery for the 43-metre new build, currently known as hull F82, is scheduled for spring 2028.

According to the yard, F82 builds upon the latest from the in-house series, including Gioia and Boji, though this unit will also be constructed with a steel hull, aluminium superstructure and a "typical" vertical bow.

Large windows and "remarkable" interior volumes below 500GT are set to provide bright and generous living spaces onboard. The new build will feature two saloons and an array of comfortable spaces distributed across the three decks.

Accommodation is for up to ten guests, with five cabins comprising four guest cabins and an owner's suite in its traditional main deck position. Further quarters are for a crew and staff of up to nine.

Power will be from twin 1600hp Caterpillar C32 engines, for a 16-knot top speed at light displacement and a range of 4,000 nautical miles when cruising at 11 knots. Key numbers include a nine-metre beam and a draught of three metres.

"With her clean and rigorous profile, in line with the style of the shipyard, this yacht offers the highest quality standards, both with regard to the use of materials and the choice of internal and external equipment," read a statement from the shipyard.

The Italian shipyard now has four yachts under construction, according to BOATPro. The shipyard celebrated the delivery of its first 33.5-metre Classic 110 yacht, Pleiades, last year.
